1) Josh Allen

In 2021, the two-time defending fantasy QB1 showed no signs of slowing down. Averaging 24.6 fantasy points per game and a staggering 26.7 anticipated fantasy points, Allen was the quarterback of choice, nearly three points ahead of the next quarterback in line. Only a few quarterbacks can match the dual-threat talent of the Bills quarterback, who ranks third in rushing yards (763) and rushing attempts (122).

2) Justin Herbert

From a clean pocket, Justin Herbert placed second in PFF passing grade (91.8) and third in touchdowns in 2021. The Bolts quarterback finished the campaign as the third-graded quarterback overall according to PFF, third in terms of fantasy points per game (22.7), and fifth in terms of anticipated fantasy points per game (21.7) The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback is a top-five, elite-tier fantasy quarterback in 2022. He is a proven ace.

The former MVP tied Justin Herbert for fourth place in fantasy points per game (22.0) and finished 12 out of the top 12 quarterbacks each week. However, Mahomes scored fewer fantasy points per game on average than in 2020. (25.2).

Performance in a clean pocket and intermediate-level passing are two significant measures at PFF that are crucial to consider for QBs. Jackson finished the intermediate level with a 22nd-place PFF passing grade and a 28th-place passer rating from a clean pocket (90.4). (70.0).

6) Kyler Murray

Murray is recovering from minor wrist stiffness, but since he has just started exercising, the problem is unlikely to affect his participation in the regular season. For the time being, the franchise’s quarterback will concentrate on developing chemistry with an Arizona wideout corps that will be without DeAndre Hopkins (six-game suspension) to start the season but has been strengthened by the signing of Marquise Brown in the offseason. Murray is not expected to play, while Colt McCoy is anticipated to miss Sunday’s preseason game against the Ravens due to an injury, according to a report.

7) Jalen Hurts

In that regard, the team’s available quarterbacks on Sunday are Gardner Minshew, Reid Sinnett, and Carson Strong, while Hurts’ final chance to play in a preseason game will come next Saturday against the Dolphins.

8) Russell Wilson

On Monday Night Football, Wilson will pay a visit to his former team, the Seahawks, to begin his time in Denver. It remains to be seen if Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy can come close to matching what Wilson had in Seattle with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, but there isn’t much of a gap between the Broncos and Seahawks other than the quarterback position.
