Tyreek Hill Believes People Who Criticised Tua Tagovailoa Owes Him An Apology

Since joining the Dolphins in the offseason, Tyreek Hill has been one of Tua Tagovailoa’s most ardent fans. The great receiver continued to advocate for his thriving third-year quarterback on Friday.

The success of Tagovailoa and their potent offence helped the Dolphins (6-3) get off to a fast start this season. A trio of quick-skill players, including Hill and second-year wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who are first (1,104) and sixth (812) in the NFL in receiving yards, respectively, have been at the heart of this offence.

According to Tyreek Hill, Miami’s early success with Tua has done more than enough to disprove the claims of those who believed he could succeed in the NFL. In fact, the 24-year-old has his first-year teammate so impressed that Hill told reporters on Friday he thinks Tagovailoa deserves an apology from everyone.

Hill told Mike Giardi of NFL Network that all people needed to do was to put their pride aside. “Not everyone is fortunate enough to encounter certain circumstances. He, unfortunately, found himself in a challenging circumstance.

Tyreek Hill appears to be more than confident that Tua is moving in the right route under rookie coach Mike McDaniel because he is a player who is aware of the importance of being in the best possible setting to begin his career.

Tagovailoa has led Miami to a three-game winning streak since returning from a series of contentious injuries in Week 7 with 945 yards and seven touchdowns with zero interceptions. He has 1,980 yards, 15 touchdowns, and three interceptions for the season while playing for an offence that is seventh in total yards per game (380.4) and ninth in points per game (23.7).

Miami’s offence was questioned for the majority of the offseason as to its potential impact, given the looming accuracy issues surrounding the starting QB. This was true of both Hill and Tagovailoa. Hill stoked the controversy in June when he asserted that Tagovailoa was more accurate than Patrick Mahomes.
