Tua Tagovailoa Ripped His Arm In An Injury That Damaged His Tattoo

In the physically demanding realm of professional football, injuries are a common occurrence. However, one specific occurrence from the most recent Dolphins-Jets game attracted notice from the NFL community for an odd reason. Despite the missing skin, the rugged NFL player Tua Tagovailoa led the club to a victory over the New York Jets on the road in Week 12.

Tua Tagovailoa Ripped His Arm In An Injury That Damaged His Tattoo

Famous quarterback Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins had a significant arm injury lately, raising concerns about his long-term career as well as his health.

An disturbing sight greeted fans as they settled down for a rare Friday NFL game. Tua left the field early in the first quarter, his right arm—which is well-known for its intricate tattoos—with a shocking cut. This was no little wound.

Tua needed emergency medical attention since his arm had a large portion of flesh taken off of it. Thankfully, the Dolphins’ medical professionals acted swiftly, dressing the wound effectively.

Although it’s unclear exactly play the gash happened on, Tagovailoa has obviously seen far more unfavorable situations on the pitch.

He really had two concussions last season, which made him concentrate on strengthening throughout the offseason and learning jiu-jitsu techniques to improve his fall mechanics.

The concern over the quality of the tattoos was highlighted when a fan said, “That arm needs touchup ink now.”

“Does he lose part of the tattoo?” was written by another user. That is the real question.”

“He’s going to have that tattoo touched up,” someone said.

“That tattoo will never be the same,” a fan said.

Tua appeared remarkably unfazed by the injury at first, despite its scary look. He spoke about the event after the Dolphins defeated the Jets 34–13.

“I didn’t notice it happen until I came to the sidelines,” Tua explained, attributing his delayed reaction to the adrenaline rush. Only when a teammate pointed out the “big gash” did he seek medical attention. Tua’s nonchalant attitude towards the injury, considering it part of the game’s physical toll, was evident.

Since when did Tua Tagovailoa have a tattoo?

When the Miami Dolphins concluded minicamp in June, the starting quarterback had some tattoos on his right shoulder.

The 25-year-old quarterback appears to have taken advantage of his football vacation to get the larger tattoo on his right arm, which honors his Polynesian heritage.

A glimpse from one of Tagovailoa’s most recent social media pictures suggests that his tattoo extends to his right wrist. He’s either finished or in the midst of finishing a sleeve.

What does the tattoo signify?

Recently, Tagovailoa talked about his new body art and stated it was a tribute to his Polynesian (Samoan) culture, imitating the tattoo style of well-known Somoan actor The Rock.

Warriors and chiefs were the people with Polynesian ancestry who got tattoos on their right shoulders in the past.
