Klay Thompson, a four-time NBA champion with the Warriors, has been selected to the NBA All-Star team five times, has made the All-NBA Third Team twice, and has made the NBA All-Defensive Second Team once. Additionally, he won gold medals with the American national team on their Olympic and World Cup squads in 2016 and 2014, respectively. He spent three seasons as a Washington State Cougars basketball player when he was twice named to the Pac-10’s first-team all-conference (now Pac-12).

With the Lakers during their Showtime heyday in the 1980s, Thompson won two NBA titles.

Brother plays in MLB

Klay Thompson’s brother plays in MLB. Trayce Thompson plays outfield for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball. Additionally, he has played for the San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and Chicago Cubs. Thompson avoided salary arbitration by signing a one-year, $1.45 million contract with the Dodgers on January 13, 2023.

Supported LA Lakers in childhood
