Markieff Morris currently plies his trade for Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. Prior to the Phoenix Suns selecting him with the 13th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, he played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks. In 2020, while playing with the Los Angeles Lakers, he captured an NBA title. Morris, rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, was ranked as the nation’s No. 49 player and No. 17 power forward in 2008.

Markieff Morris chose to major in American studies at the University of Kansas. He was nominated to the Big 12 second team as a junior with the Jayhawks in 2011. The Phoenix Suns picked Morris with the 13th overall choice in the 2011 NBA Draft.

The Morris twins, if you’ve ever followed them on Twitter, frequently used the hashtag #FOE. They have an acronym that reads “Family Over Everything” inked on their left arm.

Same bank account as brother

Phoenix gave the brothers $52 Million and allowed them to select who would receive what compensation when they joined the Suns. Why? since all of the money was traveling to the same location and the brothers share a bank account.

Favorite movie

The brothers agree that The 6th Man is one of their favorite movies, despite having different tastes in certain things they enjoy and despise. This shouldn’t be shocking considering that Markieff Morris and Marcus are playing collegiate basketball in the story.
