Top 5 ADP Valued Players For Your Fantasy Drafts
Fantasy draft season is right around the corner and your drafts will be won in the later rounds this year. In a standard 12 man league there are only projected to be 5 running backs drafted in the first round, that is less than we have ever seen. So lets see how you can get the best valued players later in your drafts.
1.) Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert (RB36, 116th overall)
With David Montgomery’s departure in free agency, Khalil Herbert is the RB1 in Chicago. Now he definitely won’t have as many carries as your Derrick Henry or Johnathan Taylor, as D’Onta Foreman and Roschon Johnson will likely be involved in the run game as well. But I believe Khalil Herbert is the clear cut RB1 , he lead the league in yards per carries among running backs with his limited carries playing behind Montgomery. Super tough to bring down, ranking 3rd in the NFL in yards after contact, as well as being a being play threat ranking 16th in rushes over 10 yards, with Montgomery gone in Chicago he is primed for a breakout season. Him being the RB36 in fantasy, being drafted behind guys like Isiah Pacheco, Brian Robinson and James cook, just seems criminal for someone with his potential this year.
David Montgomery finished as the RB24 last year, but Herbert is in a better situation, and I believe has a wider skill set that Montgomery, I would go as far as saying Herbert can possibly finish as the RB14-15 this year.

2.) Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (QB15, 104th overall)
After a pretty underwhelming career, Geno Smith had a crazy year last year, finishing as the 5th QB in fantasy. So if he finished 5th last year, why is he being drafted as the QB15 this year. If anything he is in a better system with now 3 top tier WRs, with Metcalf, Lockett and Smith-Njigba. Although Zach Charbonnet was added to the backfield to share carries with Kenneth Walker, this is still a pass first offense and i can see Geno having a very similar season. Guys like Daniel Jones, Rookie Anthony Richardson and Kirk Cousins are somehow being drafted ahead of him. He will be a league winner if you are able to snag him in your draft, his ADP is absurdly low given his ceiling
3.) Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (TE11, 117th overall)
Dalton Schultz finished as the TE10 last year in Dallas, and now he is the TE11, behind guys like Pat Friermuth and David Njoku. During the offseason Dalton Schultz signed 1 year deal with the Texans, in a bad system with a Rookie QB and mid tier WRs. Schultz should be the #1 target in this offense given he is a big body guy and should be Mr. reliable for CJ Stroud. He could finish as the TE5 this year, being a big time threat in the red zone.
4.) Houston Texans RB Dameon Pierce (RB19, 47th overall)
Pierce had a great year as a rookie, putting up 939 rushing yards and 4 TDs, he showed his ability to produce after contact in abundance as well as his a vision, being able to navigate between the tackles. Last year he finished as the RB27 due to some injuries, missing 3 whole games. But with an improved offensive line, and an injury-free season. I think he can get back on track and potential finish within the top 14 running backs. With a Rookie QB, bad WRs and a solid TE, I can imagine this offense will be very play action dependent and run dependent, with Pierce leading the charge.
Dameon Pierce’s last three games:
Week 3: 20 rushes, 80 yards, TD
Week 4: 14 rushes, 131 yards, TD
Week 5: 26 rushes, 99 yards, TDPierce is now 4th in the NFL in rushing yards and this run ruled.

5.) Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (RB17, 41st overall)
A very similar situation with Texans RB Dameon Pierce, playing with an inexperienced QB with not the best WRs. Jones finished as the RB9 last year playing with Aaron Rodgers, now with an inexperienced QB in Jordan Love, he will most likely have another very respectable season. Now, he has been dominating the carries in the backfield, but AJ Dillion will most likely be taking majority of the red zone snaps given his big body, the nickname “Quadzilla” speaks for its self.
