Tom Brady Said He Watches Bill Belichick- Patriots Game ‘Every Week’

After Tom Brady reached the milestone of 100,000 passing yards (which includes playoffs) over the weekend, his old coach had nothing but positive things to say about the now-Buccaneers quarterback.

“That’s a tremendous accomplishment by Tom, and a real credit to everything about him,” Belichick said during his Monday interview with “The Greg Hill Show” on WEEI. “His longevity, his accuracy, consistency, just doing so many things right in the passing game for so long. That’s a phenomenal accomplishment, and I’m really happy for him. No one is more deserving of it than he is. He has put in a lot of effort, so the statistic is very astounding.

Tom Brady Said He Watches Bill Belichick- Patriots Game ‘Every Week’

Tom Brady was questioned about Belichick on Monday night’s episode of his “Let’s Go” podcast. Brady responded right away when co-host Jim Gray played Belichick’s soundbite.

He said, “I can hear it as if I were seated next to him. I can still hear that after all those years of having him in my ear. It’s as if he were standing right next to me.”

Brady was questioned about whether Belichick’s voice will ever leave his head.

The former Patriots quarterback answered, “Yeah.” “We played elite football for 20 years together, and I wouldn’t exchange that for anything in the world. I am aware of how outstanding of a coach he is and how well-prepared the team is for victory. He’s just done it year in and year out.”

That was when Brady revealed that he still watches every Patriots game.

“I just watch that team every week, and I’m impressed with how they prepare and the accountability that that organisation has had. It always starts at the top,” Tom Brady said.

Tom Brady expressed his belief that his old coach will one day surpass Don Shula for the top slot, despite the fact that Belichick is currently officially second on the list of coaches with the most victories.

“The fact that he’s 22 wins away from an amazing milestone, I have no doubt he’s going to get it,” said Brady.

One of the greatest quarterback tandems in NFL history was the current quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and head coach of the New England Patriots. Together, they had several victories, particularly in the postseason. They both have respect and admiration for each other.
