Tom Brady: “My wealth is the ‘hardest thing’ about parenting”
On a recent episode of Spotify’s Drive with Jim Farley podcast, Tom Brady went on to talk about various things. One of the topics Tom Brady mentioned was parenting, and he talked about how his and his wife’s, Giselle Bündchen, wealth is the hardest thing about parenting.
According to Brady, the wealth that his kids are surrounded by makes it hard to teach them about the realities of the real world. He said, “We have people that clean for us. We have people that make our food. We have people that drive us to the airport if we need that. … We get off a plane and there’s people waiting there for us, and we get ushered in. That’s my kids’ reality, which is the hard part to say, ‘Guys, this is not the way reality really is. … What can we do about that?”
With the combined earnings of Brady and Bündchen, the parents have an estimated net worth of $650 million. They try to make sure that their kids “have experiences other kids have”, but with their lifestyles, Brady reported that it makes it hard to do that.
Brady credits his and Bündchen’s humble lifestyles to the appreciations of their wealth. Bündchen grew up in rural Brazil, in a small house with 7 other family members, while Brady grew up in a middle-class home in California.
His comments have definitely divided people on this topic. On one hand, some people do find themselves empathizing for Brady, because they wouldn’t want their kids to be spoiled either, but at the same time don’t want to give up the lifestyle that they would’ve worked hard for. Of course, there are many that consider this as “rich people problems”, and something unrelatable for the vast majority of people. as many people talked about
I understand exactly where he’s coming from. imagine your a kid and your dad is TOM BRADY. you don’t think you’d be a spoiled brat? seriously? parenting at that point would be so difficult… and no he’s not going to change his lifestyle that he earned from hard work to help it.

Hey @TomBrady
I am sorry for your struggle. If you send me $10,000,000 I can guarantee you that parenting will be easier
This isn’t easy for me, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make https://t.co/EmejVzcLJQ
