This Is How You Get Masters Ticket 2023: Cost, Procedure & Everything You Need To Know
You could be too late for this year if you are hunting for 2023 Masters tickets and finding this news now. But do not despair; there is yet hope for you. You only need to be aware of where to look and how to locate them. The greatest thing, though? They are fairly affordable if you win the Masters lottery to obtain them. But good luck if you choose another option.
Finding Masters tickets is difficult, but it is doable. Every year, for about three weeks in late May or early June, Augusta National offers its ticket lottery to provide Masters fans a chance to visit the Augusta National Golf Club.
Fans must win a lottery in order to get tickets directly from The Masters. If not, you’ll be visiting the resale market. And that’s when things start to cost a lot.
Current Masters leader Cameron Young is sponsored by Major League Baseball.
He grew up playing golf at the same club as MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and agreed to the endorsement deal when he turned pro.
The deal includes free tickets to any MLB ballpark.

“On Wednesday, tickets for the storied event at Augusta National Golf Club started at four figures and jumped to almost $90,000, according to StubHub.
- Get-in ticket prices for a one-day pass on Thursday, the first day of the event, started at $6,600.

- Get-in prices for all four days at Augusta were just a few dollars shy of $12,000.
- The four-day pass topped out at a whopping $89,999.

Application Procedure For Masters tickets
Applying through the lottery process of Augusta National Golf Club is the easiest option to buy Masters tickets. If you’re fortunate enough to be chosen, it provides moderately cost tickets for both the competition rounds and the practise rounds.
Normally, the lottery starts in late May or early June and lasts for three weeks. If a Masters “patron” is chosen (Augusta National’s favoured title for fans), they can get seats to the game for less money than they can elsewhere.

How much do Masters tickets cost?
According to a Golf.com article, candidates who successfully apply for Masters tickets through the lottery method may buy practise-round tickets for $100 each and tournament rounds for $140 apiece.
Series Badge Patron tickets
Several spectators receive lifetime yearly passes for all four days of the event (literally, “Select Badge Patrons”). In 2023, Select Badge passes for all four days of the competition cost $450. The price has increased from $375 in 2022, although it is still less expensive than lottery tickets ($560 for all four days of the Masters at $140 each tournament-round ticket).
Unfortunately, there are so many people on the waiting list that applications were stopped in 1978. (though it did briefly open in 2000).
Masters badges for Thursday and Friday have turned into $5,000 tickets.
Every sixth year or so, Saturday and Sunday are rendered useless by Easter, so anyone who wants to go goes on first two days, bumping up price.
Brokers mishandled this year, resulting in a short squeeze.
