“They Will Never Say This to My Face”- Israel Adesanya Blasts Chris Pratt’s ‘PR’ Apology After Criticizing His Performance at UFC 276

The UFC rounded off another brilliant International Fight Week with a stacked card at UFC 276. The card featured not one but two title fights as Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski put their belts on the line against Jared Cannonier and Max Holloway, respectively. However, despite making bold claims in the build-up to the fight, ‘The Last Style Bender’ failed to deliver a memorable performance which was widely criticized by both fans and pundits alike.

Actor Chris Pratt, who was in attendance, did not hold back as he criticized Adesanya for playing ‘pitter patter’ and not delivering on his promises. ‘The Last Style Bender’ responded to Pratt’s criticism, and the actor was quick to issue an apology.

Israel Adesanya roasts Chris Pratt’s ‘PR’ apology

In his most recent YouTube video, Adesanya shared his thoughts on Pratt’s comments and his apology. He said, “I mean, I woke up this morning and saw he apologized… I don’t know if it was a PR thing or even he typed that himself it takes someone to admit, ‘you know what I was wrong’. Cause even he said like I have not risked anything and here I am criticizing someone who risks.”

‘The Last Style Bender’ continued, “It is not the first time I have also been criticized by an actor. When I f**ked up Costa I got criticized by another actor. I f**ked up Costa and yet again he criticized me. He said, ‘Great athlete, shit human or whatever he said’. I am not doing this for anyone, you can’t make anyone happy. It is not even a shade again. They will never say this to my face. These are people who act like heroes, people who act like tough guys. I am not an actor, I don’t act. I am.
