“There’s No Way He’s Enjoying This”- Ben Roethlisberger Shares a Bold Take on Tom Brady’s Frustration Filled Performance Against the Steelers
It has not been an easy start to the 2022 season for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After six game weeks, the Bucs have a record of 3-3 which could have been a lot better if they did not slip up in a few games that could have easily been converted to wins. Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl winner and demands perfection from everyone around him.
This has not been the case this season and Brady displayed his frustration multiple times already, which is not usually something he does. In his most recent game, Brady and the Bucs lost 20-18 to the Steelers. A game in which Tom Brady was absolutely livid on more occasion than one.
In a recent podcast, Ben Roethlisberger shared his thoughts on Brady’s performance and shared a rather bold statement about the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback. He said, “Tom is the greatest. The Super Bowl rings, show it. [But] it looked like he didn’t want to be out there. Maybe it was the pressure and he was getting hit and whatever was going on. There’s no way he’s enjoying this. No way. … It just didn’t look fun for him.”

While Brady was visibly frustrated with his offense, Roethlisberger believes a lot of Brady’s angst comes from Steeler’s defensive performance. Despite playing without several key starters, Pittsburgh’s secondary frustrated Brady while containing his talented receiving corps.

“When a defense gets after you, sometimes, your anger and your disgust for things happen because the other team is affecting you. Not because it’s you. But yeah, it looked like a different Tom.” Roethlisberger added.
Tom Brady added that the Bucs 3-3 record after six-game weeks is a result of poor execution. He added, “I think there’s a lot of soul searching. You’ve got to make the right improvements, improve the areas that allow you to win and, hopefully, learn from the losses.” Next up for Tom Brady and his men are the Carolina Panthers on the road this weekend, which should be an easy win for Brady and co.
