‘The Heisman of Gymnastics’ Olivia Dunne And Her Teammates Are All Set For NCAA Final Four In Texas
Olivia Dunne is excited about the impending NCAA Gymnastics championship, as are her colleagues.
Dunne and the LSU Tigers have made it to the championships after moving on past the semifinals.
As stated on an Instagram story, “The tigz have arrived,” Dunne wrote.
In addition, Dunne shared articles honoring her teammate Haleigh Bryant, the 2024 AAI winner.
The AAI award, which honors the top senior gymnast in the NCAA, is comparable to the Heisman Trophy.
The Heisman Trophy can be won by any player, not just seniors, which is the only distinction between the two honors.
When referring to her friend, Dunne stated, “Kid just won the Heisman of gymnastics.”
Entering the tournament as the No. 2 seed, LSU has cruised through the bracket on its route to the National Championships.

After taking a terrifying tumble during practice amid the team’s championship run, Dunne is still competing.

The social media personality fell off the bar, flipped onto the mats, and tumbled away while trying to execute a routine.
Given that Dunne shared the crash on Instagram and contrasted it with the successful routine, it is obvious that she was not hurt.
With a humorous comment, Dunne shared the photo on social media, saying, “Bars: 1 Livvy 0.”
