“The CTE Olympics Too Crazy”- Fans Including Stefon Diggs React in Horror as Dana White’s Power Slap Makes Its TV Debut

Over the last three decades, Dana White and the Fertitta brothers spent the majority of their time and effort in making the UFC and MMA in general a mainstream sport. When they bought the UFC, the sport was banned in multiple states and not allowed on TV either. After going after a million TV networks and multiple meetings with politicians, the trio were eventually able to get the UFC on TV and put on live fights across the nation.

The UFC has been a home run, to say the least. The trio bought the company for $2 million and sold it for a whopping $4.2 billion. During the time that he has been president, White has attempted to get into other sports as well. Unfortunately, none have worked out. And by the looks of it, his latest venture is doomed to fail as well.

Dana White and the Slap League

Towards the end of last year, Dana White revealed the Slap League. For those confused as to what it might be, it is exactly what it sounds like, two individuals standing across a table from each other and slapping the other person as hard as possible till there is a knockout. The sport has drawn a lot of criticism and the official TV debut of the Slap League did not help with the criticisms. Here are some of the best reactions to Dana White’s slap league.

One fan said, “Power Slap TV ratings drew just 295,000 viewers on TBS for its debut last night, doing 0.10 in the 18-49 demo (45th on Top 150).”

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs said, “What am I watching? I never watch TV anymore only Netflix. And this what be on TV Jesus Christ.”

“Dana has fighters on his roster making 12/12, imagine what these guys are getting paid lol. Risking CTE for 2K is insane lmaooo.”– commented a fan.

“The CTE olympics too crazy”– added a fan.
