“The Biggest Fight of Your Life”- Jorge Masvidal Issues a Challenge to Conor McGregor After Recent Back and Forth on Twitter

The UFC, as a promotion, had an extremely successful 2021. Dana White and his team broke their record for the most PPVs sold in a year with reports suggesting that the company crossed the 9 million mark last year. A major factor in the success last year was the activity of superstar Conor McGregor, who fought twice. In his two fights against Dustin Poirier, ‘The Notorious’ brought in over 3 million PPV buys, which is a significant number. 

So far this year, ‘The Notorious’ has not competed since he was nursing a horrific injury he sustained against ‘The Diamond’ in their trilogy fight at UFC 264. As the much-awaited comeback looms closer, the trash talk with potential opponents is on the rise for McGregor.

Jorge Masvidal claps back at Conor McGregor 

In a recent interview, Jorge Masvidal issued a grim warning to McGregor about a potential fight. He said, “He is false, he knows that I am a man who hits hard and that I come to kill, I do not come to play hug in the cage, I am going to give everything inside me to kill him, and I have a little size, although now it is puncturing and putting steroids and all kinds of things, but he is still a little boy. I would love to fight at 170 pounds, but I don’t wait for anyone. If he wants to do it, I’ll break his face, if he doesn’t want to do it, let him come next.”

‘The Notorious’ took to Twitter to respond to Masvidal’s comments against Covington saying, “An absolute pigeon brain this guy is. Stupid beyond belief.” Masvidal responded to McGregor’s deleted tweet saying, “This pea brain is the biggest fight of your life. So you’re either too scared or too stupid to get this check.”
