“That Catch Was Nasty” – Brooklyn Nets Star Kevin Durant Gets Blown Away By NFL’s Mike Williams’ Insane Catch
This year’s Los Angeles Chargers season has been successful. The Chargers came out swinging against the Rams on Sunday after three straight good victories. Receiver Mike Williams of the Los Angeles Chargers (9-6) has made a late entry for NFL catch of the year. Williams had to use all 6 feet 4 inches of his height to catch a ball from Justin Herbert during the Week 17 home game against the Los Angeles Rams (5-10). Even Kevin Durant was impressed by that catch.
Williams contorted his body, grabbed the overthrown pass with one hand with 1:26 left in the second quarter, and still managed to get two feet in bounds. Before the break, his amazing grab brought Los Angeles closer to being in field goal range.

Kevin Durant with a crazy reaction to Mike’s catch
Williams’ leaping catch was so amazing that even NBA All-Star Kevin Durant couldn’t help but marvel at it.
“Cmon Mike Williams, that catch was nasty,” Kevin Tweeted.

Williams made a one-handed soaring catch with just over a minute remaining before halftime to get his team closer to the field goal range. Williams had the knowledge to tap both feet into the ground before he fell to the ground, stretched his arm completely, and securely grasped the ball with his right hand.
Best catch so far in the year 2023 🔥 @darealmike_dub

At the very least, it was impressive enough to be mentioned among the contenders for the top catch of the 2022 NFL season. Williams’ catch is undoubtedly among the greatest of the 2022 campaign—certainly of 2023 thus far. The outstanding grab made by Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson during his team’s 33-30 overtime victory against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 is the leading candidate. Wih the approval of Kevin Durant, Mike might be a front-runner for the best catch award.
