The Texas Rangers are an American professional baseball team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Rangers are a team in the American League (AL) West division of Major League Baseball (MLB). Texas Rangers played at Globe Life Park from 1994 to 2019, and then relocated to the brand-new Globe Life Field in Arlington in 2020. The moniker of the squad is derived from a famous law enforcement organization.

The Rangers have made eight playoff appearances in MLB, seven of which came after winning division titles in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2010, 2011, 2015, and 2016, as well as one in 2012 as a wild card club. They won the American League again the following year, but the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series in seven games.
