Texas’ QB Arch Manning’s Physical Transformation Has Everyone Surprised

As he begins his first season at Texas, Arch Manning appears to be in fantastic form.

Maalik Murphy, the Longhorns’ starting quarterback, shared a picture of Manning and several of his teammates working out naked on Friday. Manning appears to have lost weight.

Texas’ QB Arch Manning’s Physical Transformation Has Everyone Surprised

Entering fall camp, Steve Sarkisian has six quarterbacks on his roster:

  1. Redshirt sophomore Quinn Ewers
Former five-star, No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2021
  2. Redshirt freshman Maalik Murphy
Former four-star recruit in the Class of 2022
Texas ponied up significant NIL money to keep him in Austin
  3. Freshman Arch Manning
Former five-star, No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2023
  4. Redshirt sophomore Charles Wright
Former three-star recruit in the Class of 2021
  5. True junior Cole Lourd
Former three-star recruit in the Class of 2021
  6. True sophomore Joe Tatum
    Preferred Walk-On

All six quarterbacks have been working hard in the offseason, regardless of their individual positions. The dozen signal callers are torn, and Falls camp is just around the bend.

The quarterbacks for Texas have been working out in the gym. It was said that Ewers had gained weight recently, and that is undoubtedly accurate. Manning, who was an early enrollee who was powerful but skinny, is considerably bigger.

His uncles never had such appearance, not even when they were young. The 18-year-old already has a six-pack, unlike Peyton Manning and Eli Manning who both possessed the stereotypical “dad bod” appearance.

Perhaps with his early January enrollment at Texas, Arch has had more time to exercise. This image may be the newest addition to feed the already enormous buzz.

Murphy is described as being 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds. He appears to be closer to 245 and appears to be capable of eating his colleagues for breakfast.

Ewers, who stands at 6-foot-2, weighs 204 pounds. He is clearly at or above 210.

Manning is reported as being 212 pounds and 6 feet tall. His quoted weight may have been a minor exaggeration in the past, but since starting a collegiate strength and nutrition program, he looks every bit of 212 (or more).

Texas is excited to watch Arch in action, even if he will start his rookie season behind Quinn Ewers, a fellow former five-star prospect.

Manning and the Longhorns quarterback room now seem to be keeping themselves busy during summer practices.
