Terrell Owens Kept His Promise As He Pays A Visit To Deion Sanders At Colorado

Monday’s practice for the Colorado Buffaloes had a special visitor. None other than Terrell Owens, a Hall of Fame receiver who is constantly in demand.

Terrell Owens Kept His Promise As He Pays A Visit To Deion Sanders At Colorado

While T.O. wasn’t actively participating as he often did during his playing career, he was watching the CU players work from a golf cart. Deion Sanders and Terrell Owens have been friends since they were both players. Never as teammates, but rather at different times as stars for the same two teams.

They were both elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, led with a lot of confidence, and lined up opposite each other for the first time during a notoriously rough game between the 49ers and Cowboys in 1997.

Owens is familiar with Sanders’ coaching endeavours. He frequently travelled to Jackson State to visit his longtime pal. Even T.O. once served as an instructor at Prime’s camp in Mississippi.

a great deal of knowledge having Sanders and Owens in the same structure. The receiver room in Colorado stands to gain the most by having both inquire about one-on-one encounters. Each of them once dominated the NFL, with T.O. frequently putting on a show.

Travis Hunter Jr., a two-way standout, will be coached up as a wide receiver during spring practice, Owens promised Sanders. Hunter can learn to play cornerback from Sanders, but Owens is more knowledgeable about how to be successful on the opposite side.

On Sunday, T.O. came and went right in front of the group to impart some knowledge. Although his emphasis was on trust, his narrative speaks for itself and is a fantastic source of inspiration.

At Colorado, Sanders has assembled a fantastic coaching staff, and Owens is aware that if the players just buy into what they are saying, the coaches will get the players where they need to be. Nothing is off limits.

Additionally, Hunter finally had the chance to spar with the 15-year NFL veteran receiver. The former top recruit overall will get the chance to study two different positions from two different Hall of Famers. Really cool!
