Tennis Star Yana Sizikova Was Arrested Amid Match Fixing Allegations

French Open tournament is again shaken up and this time it’s Yana Sizikova.

Russian tennis star player Yana Sizikova was arrested at the grand slam. Yet another shocking news after Naomi Osaka exits French Open because of her depression issues. However, this time the reason is huge. I mean how many dollars a woman needs, probably every dollar exist on earth. Whereas I don’t know how much she asked to fix a match. It has not been revealed although it would have been massive.

 

 

Yana Sizikova has been released after questioning but the spotlight found her. Not only her but also the French Open tournament. However, the French Tennis Federation cleared the air with a statement that the inquiry is underway. What the hell is going on with tennis or with the French Open? Match-fixing is worse than destroying $16000 worth of laptop. Last September, French investigators opened an examination concerning affirmed match-fixing in a women’s match at the French Open.

Russian Tennis Federation didn’t respond to the allegation against Yana Sizikova.

I can really understand the fact that the prized money Yana Sizikova got by playing tennis games so far. Maybe that is the sole reason for her to fix matches. Unless the allegations are proved no one can point a finger at her. However, her lawyer denied the allegations while praising Sizikova and her work so far. The president of the Russian Tennis Federation witnessed her getting arrested.

Her hotel room was searched by police and she was arrested thereafter. Whereas the Russian Federation has not presented any comments to the allegations against Yana Sizikova. However, if she will be found guilty of match-fixing her career will end. Whereas it won’t be a peaceful end for but a shameful one. I don’t know if that will be the case how Yana Sizikova will respond to it.
