Tampa Bay Buccaneers Injury Report: Who Are the Players Set to Miss the Game Against the Green Bay Packers?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could not have asked for a better start to the season. Tom Brady and his men look like they mean business after two impressive performances in the first two games weeks this season. With impressive wins over the Saints and the Cowboys, the Bucs are off to a good start that will be tested in game week three as they take on the Green Bay Packers led by a formidable Aaron Rodgers.
Bucs WR Chris Godwin (hamstring) and DT Akiem Hicks (foot) are out. LT Donovan Smith (elbow) TE Cade Otton (personal reasons) is doubtful. WR Russell Gage (hamstring) did not practice Friday and is questionable. RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was limited and questionable. pic.twitter.com/pImT0V5H64

However, ahead of the clash, Bucs have been dealt worrying news. A tweet put out by Rick Stroud showed a number of injuries. Stround tweeted, “Bucs WR Chris Godwin (hamstring) and DT Akiem Hicks (foot) are out. LT Donovan Smith (elbow) TE Cade Otton (personal reasons) is doubtful. WR Russell Gage (hamstring) did not practice Friday and is questionable. RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was limited and questionable.”

In addition to the aforementioned absentees, the Buccaneers will also be without Mike Evans following his altercation with New Orleans Saints players last weekend. Both teams head into this contest on the back of wins over the likes of the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay leads the all-time series 32-22-1, including three wins in the last four meetings. Brady and his men will be aiming to bridge that gap in what will be one of the marquee games of this game week.
Tom has got the best of Aaron since he joined the @Buccaneers with a pair of victories.

The Buccaneers are the betting favorites to win this game but given that their injury list is growing by the day, it might be easier said than done for Tom Brady and his men to secure a win against the Packers.

The Bucs are one of the very few teams who have not lost so far this season and are looking strong in contention to make it to the super bowl. However, its games like these against the Packers that will really define them as a team and how far they will be able to go.
