Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Devin White Fantasy: LB NFL Defensive Data, Stats & Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
The Buccaneers selected Devin White with the fifth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. In Super Bowl LV, which he won 31-9 over the Kansas City Chiefs, he became the champion.
There is growing anxiety among the Tampa Bay Buccaneers community that the young linebacker isn’t the star he was once considered to be, but that is far from the truth after what has been seen as a “poor” season for the team. There are some Bucs supporters who have started to question Devin White; they are not all of them, but there are some.
Captain David, if not the team’s overall defensive leader, was hurt. Devin White was essentially left on an island in the center of the defense as a result of having to stand up and act as the only leader in the middle.

With 128 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and three passes defended in 2021, White was once again a standout in IDP leagues, but for the first time in his three-year career, he failed to cause a turnover.

As surprising as it may appear, White’s coverage statistics actually increased from the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl season in 2020 to 2021. Fans may relax, though, knowing that Devin White is still every bit the stud he first appeared to be and that he will only get better.
