Take a look at the heated argument between Patrick Mahomes and a kid’s dad after Patrick said no to give him an autograph.
Don’t approach Patrick Mahomes while he is competing in a golf competition if you want his autograph.
Mahomes took part in the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe over the weekend.
With his many supporters, Patrick Mahomes has established himself as one of the NFL’s top talents. Wherever the two-time NFL MVP appears, especially on the golf course, his fans adore seeing him. Recently, Mahomes played in a celebrity golf tournament while a young admirer waited for his signature.

A young fan standing close by requested Mahomes’ autograph during one of his shots. Mahomes graciously declined by stating, “I can’t make everybody happy,” The father of the child retorted, “No, you can, you can just make one kid happy out of 100,” to which Mahomes responded, “I’ll make 99 sad.”
After the interaction went viral, fans appeared to be supporting Mahomes.
The guy is in the middle of a tournament and then this grown ass man basically says “Upset all those other kids to make mine happy” after Mahomes gives a perfectly reasonable explanation for not signing it.
Weird as hell. https://t.co/Q682b3r6Vy

Dad gets snippy when Mahomes politely explains why he can't sign an autograph. pic.twitter.com/bWJcgsRP4C

Others thought the conversation was quite appropriate and neither party had done anything wrong.
Neither side deserves blame. Dad was trying to get his kid an autograph and Mahomes can't do it there. https://t.co/v0sCHQqe4r

Nothing wrong with the Dad applying a little pressure. It’s not like he called him out or cussed him or anything. Mahomes’s response was completely fine as well. I’m cool with this interaction https://t.co/UBAOZgVnRj

Mahomes may have been troubled, but that did not prevent him from winning the competition. Along with Travis Kelce, a colleague of Mahomes, there were also quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen on the field.
The Chiefs quarterback has won a golf competition on multiple occasions this year. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, who have won the NBA championship four times each, lost to Mahomes and Kelce in “The Match” last month.
