According to the event notice, Gaines visited the school to discuss her opposition to transgender athletes participating in women’s sports.

Gaines shared a video of the occurrence that showed her rushing swiftly while being encircled by security personnel. Transgender rights are human rights, a demonstrator can be heard yelling, however the footage is blurry and doesn’t appear to show an attack.

“Why are you running!” one of the protesters yells gleefully — before a short-haired activist jumps in front of her to scream abuse.

“Yeah you f—ing transphobic bitch — I f–ing see you!” the deranged-sounding activist screams as Gaines tries to escape down a hallway.

You crying! You f—ing crying bitch — f–k you!” one of the group screams.

Riley Gaines, a swimmer, claims she was “ambushed and physically hit” by a crowd of transgender rights demonstrators who crashed her lecture about defending women’s sports and was compelled to barricade for three hours.

A former rival of controversial trans swimmer Lia Thomas, the 12-time All-American champion revealed ominous video of police rushing Lia Thomas to safety late on Thursday at San Francisco State University.

“I was physically assaulted by one person. I was struck twice, both times hitting my shoulder with the second strike grazing my face,” Gaines told CNN’s Natasha Chen. “The rest of the protestors just ambushed and cornered me before I was able to move out with the help of campus police.”

Bye, girl! F–k you,” the protesters yells, as others holding “Trans Lives Matter” signs chant “trans rights are human rights” and “Trans women are women.”

Gaines was thereafter “barricaded” in a room “for three hours,” according to Gaines’ agent, Eli Bremer.

“We are conducting an ongoing investigation into the situation. There were no arrests related to the event,” the university police department said in a statement. “The disruption occurred after the conclusion of the event which made it necessary for UPD officers to move the event speaker from the room to a different, safe location.”

The student newspaper Golden Gate Xpress published footage of more than a dozen San Francisco Police Department officers arriving as support, reporting that “the police cannot free Riley.”

Officers used a megaphone to declare over the crowd that it was an illegal assemblage and that anyone who refused to leave would be detained at 11:21 p.m.

Online recordings reveal that Gaines was ultimately able to depart at 11:38 p.m., more than three hours after being first taken to safety, with a significant police presence to prevent her from being followed.

Later, she said that throughout the chaos, she had been “ambushed and physically hit twice.”
