Suns Chris Paul Will Be Absent From Game 1 Due To Safety Protocols

Chris Paul will not be available for game 1.

Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Clippers will be playing in the Western Conference finals. Before game 1 a big update came out on Saturday evening from both the teams. Suns Chris Paul who has been out for a few games because of NBA safety protocols with respect to COVID19 will not be seen playing in Game 1. Ruling him out is actually an important decision for the team also.

2021 NBA season has already been filled with injuries. Losing any more important player in terms of injury or safety protocols doesn’t sound good. I think that keeping Suns Chris Paul out until the risk is tackled is a great move. I do miss him playing for the Suns but health is also an important aspect of life. Though I miss cheering and screaming for him and his shots.

Not only Suns Chris Paul but Kawhi Leonard will also not play.

One of the major players of the Los Angeles Clippers Kawhi Leonard will also be out of game 1. The news came out a few hours before Suns Chris Paul update. Leonard actually has a sprained right knee and due to the injury, he also missed a few games. With him out the team will be relying on Paul George. It has always been hard for the Clippers against the super teams but they really made it to the finals.

Phoenix Suns will rely on Cameron Payne in the absence of Chris Paul. I am hoping to see a great game just like game 7 of Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. Whatever may be the case great basketball is the key to winning the NBA title. I am also excited to see Devin Booker in action.
