Stephen Curry Jokingly Points Finger At Kevin Harlan For Jinxing His Free-Throw Streak

When he recently missed his first free shot of the year, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry found the humour in it.

Curry, a two-time MVP, was informed that he has not yet missed a free shot this year by TNT play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan.

Stephen Curry’s Hillarious Reaction To Missing His Free Throw

The best shooter in basketball history is, without a doubt, Stephen Curry. He can easily score from any spot on the court, thanks to his limitless range. The same holds true for making free throws. In NBA history, Stephen Curry has the highest percentage of free throws made (90.9%).

Stephen Curry is the all-time leader in free-throw % in the NBA, despite the fact that his career is still young. Stephen Curry is closely followed by Steve Nash (90.4%), and Mark Price is the only other player with a career rate of more than 90%.

The closest player to Curry among active players is Damian Lillard, who has an 89.3 per cent mark.

At the beginning of the season, Steph went 22 for 22 from the charity stripe, shooting a perfect 100%. In the second quarter against the Suns, he attempted free throws, shattering his 100% record.

Curry’s first free shot attempt came as TNT’s Kevin Harlan was discussing how Steph hasn’t missed a free throw this season. A miss resulted from the ball rolling and exiting the field. Steph appeared to understand the reason why he missed because he instantly turned to the TNT bench.

Everyone is aware that you should never discuss a shooter’s perfect record just before they take another shot. It’s a widespread superstition. Every time a commentator notes a current streak that ends quickly after the comment, the idea of an announcer’s jinx comes up again. Even while it might not have actually contributed to any streaks ending, it’s funny to see Curry have a good time.

After the game, Stephen Curry would love to discuss the same with Harlan.
