Stephen Curry Is Aiding Giants In Signing Free Agent Aaron Judge

Stephen Curry, a well-known Boston Red Sox supporter, made a special cameo before the San Francisco Giants’ pitch to Aaron Judge.

The majority of Steph Curry’s appearance during the Giants pitch was innocent; Steph would warmly welcome another famous athlete to the Bay Area, especially one he could share the spotlight with as his career came to an end.

The Giants have a trick up their sleeves that they didn’t hesitate to utilize in the discussions, claims Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports. They gave Aaron Judge access to meet with Stephen Curry, the All-Star for the Golden State Warriors. Imagine one of the greatest NBA players ever attempting to persuade Judge that Steph is already an avid Giants supporter.

This event was planned with the intention of seeing where it goes from there. Based on the responses to this event, it appears that the negotiations went smoothly, and the San Francisco Giants are about to make the slugger a sizable offer.

Stephen Curry Is Aiding the Giants In Signing Free Agent Aaron Judge

Farhan Zaidi , San Francisco Giants , President of Baseball Operations has already prepared a pitch and offer of some kind for Aaron Judge, who is thought to be the biggest threat to the Yankees overall and is expected to sign with San Francisco.

So, what did Stephen Curry say to Aaron Judge?

“I met him before this,” Curry said of Aaron Judge, per NBC Sports. “We’ve talked before. So . . . let’s put it this way: I am doing my part as a loyal Red Sox fan.”

Judge, a native of California, met this week with the Giants. Curry told NBC Sports Bay Area that the Warriors’ aircraft from New Orleans arrived too late for him to see the current AL MVP in person on Tuesday. However, they continued to text each other, so we will now have to wait and see whether San Francisco’s contract offer — probably the most important factor in the Giants’ pursuit — is enough to pry Judge away from the Bronx.
