Stephen Curry Gifts His Sneakers To BTS Star Suga!
Even though it was only an exhibition game, some of Asia’s top stars attended the clash between the Warriors and Wizards. Suga from BTS received special treatment, and Naomi Osaka attended the game. Suga and Stephen Curry chatted before and throughout the game, and Curry even followed Suga on Instagram. Curry gave Suga a pair of game-used Curry 10 sneakers after the Wizards and Warriors ended their tour of Japan. The scene was recorded for all to see on social media.

The sneakers were then displayed by Suga on the NBA Kicks account as well.
Prior to their encounter in Japan, Suga and Steph Curry didn’t have a very close relationship, but it now appears as if the two have bonded quickly. However, there have never been two stars on their level to demonstrate the relationship between K-POP and NBA culture. We can only hope that the alliance this two forge will help both industries advance.

The rapper could be seen posing with Stephen Curry while holding an autographed jersey in photos that Min Yoongi himself posted. As if that weren’t enough, a video of Curry surprising the BTS members with shoes is also going around. Suga gave him a box of BTS’ most recent album, Proof, in exchange.
