Stefon Diggs Reveals What He Told Josh Allen as the Pair Embraced After a Hard Fought Win Against the Lions

When it comes to the best wide receiver-quarterback pairings in the league, Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen are right up there among the best if not the best. Allen and Diggs, over the years, have developed an almost telepathic understanding of each other’s positions and movements, which makes them extremely difficult to stop.

Normally, the pair are in sync from the get-go. However, against the Detroit Lions that was not the case. Diggs had three catches for 12 yards while being targeted 10 times when Buffalo got the ball down three points with nine minutes left in the game. However, when it mattered the most, Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen combined to secure a good enough position from where Tyler Bass could score a field goal.

Stefon Diggs shares an emotional moment with Josh Allen

After the game, Diggs shared an emotional moment with Josh Allen where the two embraced after what was a hard-fought game. In a recent interview, Diggs shared what was said between the two men in the embrace.

He said, “I love you. That’s like my real sibling. My little, big brother. He’s huge and all, but that’s still my little brother,” Diggs continued. “I can tell that he has that energy that’s contagious. And I never want him to ever display bad body language. He’s so hard on himself because he’s a great player.”

Stefon Diggs continued, “I always tell him, ‘Yo, hey, chin up. We ready. It’s OK, forget about it.’ And kind of giving him that positive energy because it’s hard being quarterback, I imagine. And as much as I get frustrated, I know his job is hard.”

During the game against the Lions, Allen completed 24 of 42 attempted passes, threw for 253 yards and had two touchdowns to his name. The Bills are on a two-game win streak at the moment and next up for them are the New England Patriots next Thursday.
