Phoenix Suns had another incredible quarter as they scored 28 points in the 3rd quarter as compared to the Clippers’ 25. They ended the game comfortably as they won 103-96. However, a crazy stat surfaced which showed the Suns‘ dominance this season.

Phoenix Suns are 23-3 in clutch games this season

According to statmuse, after this win, the Suns are 23-3 in the clutch games this season so far. While this may sound incredible, their clutch wins are more than the wins of seven other teams in the league this season.

The Sun’s clutch wins are more than the overall wins of the Indiana Pacers, Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets.

Clutch time is defined as the last five minutes of a game with a five-point differential or less. In other words, when the game is on the line, the Suns’ starting backcourt is unflappable.

Suns' Mission

Suns’ star guard Devin Booker was the star of the evening for the Phoenix-based franchise. Booker scored a game-high 26 points in 36 mins. He also recorded 3 rebounds and 4 assists against the Clippers.

The Phoenix Suns have bolstered their roster and have no intention of slowing down anytime soon. The Suns are looking incredible this season and will be chasing the first championship in their history this season. They now face a struggling Houston Rockets side next at the Footprint Center.
