Star Gymnast Simone Biles Opens Up About Her Foster Care Experiences.

When it comes to her problems both on and off the gym floor, Simone Biles is not hesitant to share them. It hasn’t all been fun times for the American gymnast; some of the less-than-pleasurable events, like some humorous flops and falls, have been posted to Instagram.

The 26-year-old Biles frequently posts Instagram Stories to show off a side of herself that her followers hardly ever see. The 14-time World Champion and four-time Olympic gold medallist is well aware that improvement comes from practice.

Recently, Biles has also spoken out about the nightmares of having parents who did not take care of her while she was in foster care.

“I actually was a foster kid so I know some of the hardships that those kids go through,” said Biles. “When my siblings and I entered foster care, it was because our biological mom was stuggling with drug and alcohol abuse.
