Sophie Scott, Girlfriend Of QB Mac Jones Posted “Victory Monday” After The Patriots’ Great Win

Mac Jones indeed has a great partner. Sophie Scott found extra joy in the Patriots’ triumph on Sunday.

A video of the three-year veteran quarterback Mac Jones tossing the game-winning touchdown pass was shared by the girlfriend of the Patriots quarterback on Instagram Stories as she celebrated her team’s amazing 29-25 shock victory over the Buffalo Bills.

“PATS W,” Scott captioned. “With a side of griddy.”

On Sunday, the Patriots won their second game of the year and head coach Bill Belichick achieved his 300th regular-season triumph.

Jones, who has had difficulty throwing the ball under center lately, completed 25 of 30 passes for 272 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

“It’s all about playing for each other, playing for the guy next to you and understanding why. So we did that today and we need to continue to do that every day in practice and in the games,” Jones, after the game, said.

With 12 seconds remaining, Jones guided the Patriots on an eight-play, 75-yard drive that culminated in a touchdown throw to tight end Mike Gesicki. The Bills had taken their first lead of the game at 25-22.

The former first-round selection also said to reporters that despite a difficult start to the season that includes several benchings, he has been “sticking to the process.”

“It’s hard when the results aren’t there. But continue to do that and continue to get better. We left some stuff out there, as always. But at the end of the day, we fought back,” Jones said.

The former University of Alabama student has come under fire as the Patriots’ misfortunes have been coming.

Before suffering their third consecutive loss, a 21-17 setback to the Raiders last Sunday, New England had already been outscored 72-3 in back-to-back losses to the Cowboys and Saints earlier this month.

“I’m confident,” Jones said sometimes back. “I think that comes from years of experience and earning respect from people. I think I’ve done that. But once again, I’m trying to win every game that I play in and I’m not doing it. I just really want to focus on how I can bring these guys with me, how we can clean up the little things.”
