‘Somebody Is Going to Have to Pay’- Kamaru Usman’s Manager Ali Abdelaziz Fires Off at Jake Paul for His Recent Comments
There are very few personalities in the MMA community who are as consistently outspoken as the famed manager of Dominance MMA, Ali Abdelaziz. In a recent interaction with MMA Junkie, Abdelaziz talked about the future of several high-profile clients, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, Henry Cejudo, and Kamaru Usman.
Additionally, he also touched on a personal feud he had with YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, that commanded the headlines a few weeks ago.
Ali Abdelaziz goes all out against ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul
The head honcho of Dominance MMA revealed that Paul’s constant verbal insults on social media haven’t gone unnoticed as of late. Ali Abdelaziz flat out threatened Jake Paul for his comments and this is in line with the way he has spoken about his detractors in the past.
Being a regular in the MMA gym alongside his fighters, it’s even possible that Ali Abdelaziz would want to square off against Jake Paul in the ring.

“You see Eddie Hearn talking sh*t. You this little punk, what’s his name, Jake Paul and his people. I’m going to deal with him too because he said some things. It’s funny because Jake Paul never said some things about me. But suddenly, he starts saying some things about me and I know where this is coming from. I’m going to tell you something, somebody is going to have to pay for what he said.”
Moreover, he made reference to Jake Paul’s media appearances while promoting Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden, and it seems that Abdelaziz basked in the limelight he received during that particular fight week.
“He’s pimped, he’s a little prostitute,” Abdelaziz said about Paul. “… At the end of the day, they have to bring in MMA, they have to bring in UFC because they don’t get enough attention and they have to speak about us …. And honestly, I’m flattered. The whole press conference in Madison Square Garden, Eddie Hern talked about me, Jake talked about me – good or bad, they still talked about me. [h/t mmajunkie.com]
There is some overwhelming tension between Jake Paul and the MMA community and his need to frequently target MMA fighters has brought him on the radar of managers like Ali Abdelaziz in a big way.
