Seattle Seahawks’ Rashaad Penny RB: NFL Fantasy Data & Stats Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
In large part because of Russell Wilson’s move to the Denver Broncos this summer, the Seattle Seahawks offense will look very different coming into the 2022 season. Rashaad Penny, who is expected to replace Seattle’s starting running back job in 2022, is one of the playmakers from last season who is still with the team.
Penny ultimately fulfilled the potential that led Seattle to choose him in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft in the final five games of 2021. He ran for 671 yards and six touchdowns in his final five games, finishing the season with a league-best 6.3 yards per run.
Due to his history of injuries, Penny has a lot of promise but also a poor floor. Although the 26-year-old finished 2021 as one of the league’s top running backs, his long injury history makes him more of an RB3 target with potential in drafts.

If everything works out for him, Penny might become one of the league’s top running backs in 2022. But with Seattle’s glaring quarterback shortage and Penny’s prior history of injuries, there are many unanswered questions over their roster.

Rashaad Penny has played quite infrequently up to the 2021 season. Most of the time, he served as Carson’s backup change of pace option, but that was provided he wasn’t hurt.

Over the course of his first three seasons, Penny only appeared in 27 games, which left Seattle unsure of what they had in their rookie running back.
