Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker And QB Geno Smith Clash At Sidelines
On the sidelines of Sunday’s game against the Rams, Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and rookie running back Kenneth Walker III did not appear to be having a good time with one another.
Fox cameras showed the two having a heated argument across the bench while Los Angeles was in the lead in the first half. Walker was upset with Smith as they looked to be discussing a play with an assistant coach. Walker may be seen being moved away from Smith by another coach as well as running back DeeJay Dallas.

The reason behind the tense confrontation, which took place before Walker left the game due to an ankle injury, is unknown. Before getting hurt, the talented youngster had three rushes for 36 yards.

The Seahawks, who are 6-5 and currently outside the running for a playoff spot, enter Sunday’s game in a pretty crucial situation. The Seahawks must defeat the hapless Rams because they have games against the 49ers, Chiefs, and Jets coming up.
Walker missed a blitz pickup by Rams safety Taylor Rapp earlier in the game.
I’d guess Geno Smith was upset at Kenneth Walker III for not picking up the blitzing Taylor Rapp—and maybe Walker upset because he didn’t hear/get a pass check?

Smith outran the Rams, 27-23, with 367 yards and three touchdown passes, including the game-winning 8-yard TD pass to DK Metcalf with 36 seconds left. Against the Rams, the quarterback had a completion percentage of 71.8 per cent and a pick of one.
“He was incredible down the stretch. I wish you guys could see how poised he is, how clear he is to communicate with, how calm he is in the big moments — he’s just on it,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said, according to the Seattle Times. “It’s a remarkable statement about who he is and what he’s all about.”

Carroll also said postgame that Walker “jammed his ankle and just couldn’t get going again” after the injury and that they would “have to see what that means” moving forward.
The Seahawks (7-5) host the Panthers (4-8) on Sunday.
