Scott McTominay’s GF Cam Reading Struck With a Golf Ball Before Landing in an ‘Awkward’ Place
When Scott McTominay and his girlfriend Cam Reading watched some golf over winter break, they ended up getting more than they had anticipated.
During the team’s winter vacation, Manchester United player McTominay has been enjoying some wintertime sun in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Along with Cam, McTominay, 27, was a special guest at the Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament.

When a stray ball came their way and landed in an “awkward” area, the two got more than they bargained for.
Cam posted a picture of the ball on Instagram, demonstrating that it had fallen squarely in the center of her seat.
After the event, Scotland international McTominay found the ironic side.

McTominay stated in a video that was uploaded on the DP World Tour Instagram page: “We’re going to have to get out of the way here. This is not good.”

Cam explained what had transpired as follows: “We were just sat here having a nice little conversation and then suddenly a bang happened over there and it [the ball] just bounced over and hit my back and then landed underneath my bum.”
McTominay made a joke: “You can’t actually write the script for that.”
Then, jokingly, she said that if she could have it signed, she would keep it for “insurance” or sell it on eBay.

All was not lost, though, as Cam was permitted to keep the ball despite the unexpected turn of events.
Then, if she could get it autographed, she would jokingly say that she would keep it for “insurance” or sell it on eBay.
Cam added: “It’s very lucky though. First tournament, first golf tournament and I’ve been hit by a ball. It’s great.”
Earlier in the month, McTominay wished Cam a happy birthday while the two were photographed looking put together for a glitzy photo.

The pair frequently posts pictures of themselves together on social media since Cam started dating McTominay last year.
She went on vacation with the Man Utd player in the summer and they relaxed on a yacht while enjoying the sun.
