San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos Week 3 2022: TV Coverage, Live Scores, Odds Lines, Spreads, and Predictions

Game Preview

Things are not looking very good right now for the Denver Broncos, who currently have a 1-1 record in NFL. A Russell Wilson-led Broncos are misfiring on multiple fronts such as coaching, and offensive efficiency to name a few things. Fortunately for the Broncos, they will be facing a 49ers side that will be without their quarterback Trey Lance.

The thing that works in San Francisco’s advantage even in Lance’s absence is their defense. The 49ers’ defense is amongst the best, if not the best, in the league with a few impressive stats. First in overall defense (210 yards per game), second in rushing defense (67.5), first in passing defense (142.5), and tied for third in scoring defense (13 points per game).

San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos – Predictions

Final Score Prediction: 49ers: 25 | Broncos: 12

In the absence of Lance, the 49ers will be led by Garoppolo who is notoriously famous for being erratic in his performances. We will either get a Garoppolo who will put on a magnificent performance or play like he is throwing a football for the first time, there is no in-between. An interesting thing to note is that, in the last game, the 49ers only started winning once Lance was taken off due to a broken ankle that will keep him out for the rest of this season. If the same Garoppolo shows up, it can be another win for the 49ers.

The Broncos, on the other hand, will have to rely heavily on their main man Wilson to show up. The pressure on both Hackett and Wilson is increasing by the day and they can not afford another loss at this point in time.
