Last season, the San Francisco 49ers and tight end George Kittle pulled off an incredible comeback. The 49ers started the season with a 3-5 record but won seven of their next nine games to finish 10-7. George Kittle, a tight end with the San Francisco 49ers, is a valuable fantasy football player.
In most Fantasy Football tournaments, Kittle is a top-five tight end who merits a selection in the Round 5 bracket. Kittle caught 78 catches for 1,018 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 games last season, including the playoffs.
With a new quarterback at the helm for the next season, Kittle returns to aid the 49ers in achieving their objective.

71 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns were made by Kittle. He gained 12.8 yards per reception and 65.0 receiving yards per game. With Trey Lance at the quarterback, Kittle is worried that he won’t receive as many or better targets.

In his lone game with Lance during the 2017 season, Kittle only caught two of three targets for 21 yards. Even yet, George Kittle is still a top-five tight end in any format when he produces 80% of what he often does.

The general belief is that his injuries from 2021 shouldn’t have a significant impact on his fantasy predictions. It will be interesting to see how he does in 2022, at the very least. Looking ahead, Kittle should continue to provide owners consistent output even if he isn’t the best TE every week to stay competitive. That is what has him currently securely ensconced in the top five.
