The San Antonio Spurs will play their first game of the 2022 NBA Summer League versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. The best Spurs player to see in Summer League, if he were able to play, would undoubtedly be Jeremy Sochan, who was chosen ninth overall in this year’s NBA Draft. He was disqualified from taking part in Las Vegas along with Joe Wieskamp.
By moving DeJounte Murray to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a large number of future draft selections, the San Antonio Spurs made it clear that they intended to rebuild. While this could lower hopes for the regular season, it ought to heighten the enthusiasm for Summer League games.

San Antonio Spurs to watch out for in the Summer League
Two further NBA Draft picks by the Spurs will be important guys to keep an eye on. Malaki Branham was selected with the No. 20 overall selection, while Blake Wesley was selected with the No. 25 overall pick. The summer Spurs backcourt will be energized by both players. The Spurs will have Joshua Primo taking part in this year’s NBA Summer League in addition to their previous draft picks.

Throughout his first season, he averaged 5.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 19.3 minutes per game. Dominick Barlow, a prospect with a lot of potentials who signed a two-way deal following the draft, is an intriguing player. Barlow can shoot three points and has great transition skills.
