According to the records, which were initially seen by The Athletic and filed in Alexandria General District Court, Rollins is accused of committing the crimes seven times between September 9 and November 9.
Rollins, a second-round selection out of Toledo in 2022, was formally dismissed by the Wizards on Monday. Considering that he had played in just 10 games this season, the decision seems normal. The Wizards are now 6-31 on the year, and their roster is mainly made up of interchangeable parts.

However, Rollins’ waiver in Washington seems unrelated to his skill on the court, according to court records Josh Robbins of The Athletic was able to get.
Seven charges of petty theft were brought against him.
According to Spotrac, the former Wizards point guard made a basic salary of $1.7 million this year. It is said that he stole body wash, candles, food, and other small domestic things.

Since none of the things he is accused of stealing are worth more than $1,000, Virginia considers it to be a Class 1 misdemeanor.
According to court records, he is expected to appear in court in Virginia on February 7.
“We just recently learned of the charges against Ryan,” Monumental Basketball president Michael Winger told The Athletic. “We cannot comment on that matter, or the basis for our roster decisions.”
