“Russell Wilson Is Not the Problem”- Fans React After the Denver Broncos Succumb to a Fifth Loss of the Season Against the Jets

The New York Jets are off to a flying start in the 2022 NFL season. Seven games into the season, Robert Saleh and his men are 5-2 after recently picking up a 16-9 win against the Denver Broncos. For the Broncos it is the same old story, one of the best defenses in the league holding up the opponents to an extremely low, but a directionless offense headed by an incompetent coach and a quarterback who is not in form at all has cost them yet another win.

It was the New York Jets who drew first blood after a 62-yard touchdown by Breece Hall. The Broncos hit back shortly after through Latavius Murray to get the score to 7-6 at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter started a lot better for the Broncos who took the lead thanks to a field goal by Brandon McManus. After that, it was all downhill for the Broncos. The Jets ended the second quarter with a field goal of their own to take a one-point lead.

The third quarter so no scoring action from either side but in the fourth quarter, two field goals by Greg Zuerlein gave the Jets a 16-9 win. Fans on social media were not impressed at all by the game and voiced their opinion, here are some of the best reactions.

Denver Broncos succumb to a fifth loss of the season

The Broncos are under a lot of scrutiny right now, especially Nathaniel Hackett. Earlier last week, the Panthers made the first head coach firing of the season by parting ways with Rhule.

Many believe that Hackett could be next in line and his team’s loss against the Jets do not increase his chances of staying on with the team. Next up for the Denver Broncos are the Jacksonville Jaguars in game week eight of the 2022 NFL season.
