Robert Griffin III Asserted That Stefon Diggs And Josh Allen Are Having ‘Personal’ Problems With One Another

According to a brand-new notion by Robert Griffin III, the problem for the Buffalo Bills could lie between Josh Allen at quarterback and Stefon Diggs at receiver.

Robert Griffin III Asserted That Stefon Diggs And Josh Allen Are Having ‘Personal’ Problems With One Another

That doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment with superstar receiver Stefon Diggs and Human Terminator QB Josh Allen. A prominent NFL figure said that Diggs’ puzzling absence from the beginning of the Bills’ minicamp earlier this month was due to a disagreement with Allen.

Some people think that Diggs has a problem with his participation in the offense and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey’s play-calling. Others believe that his frustration with the front office and general manager Brandon Beane stems from their decision not to sign DeAndre Hopkins when the star receiver’s contract was restructured.

ESPN’s Robert Griffin III had an unusual perspective on the Bills’ predicament with their primary playmaker on Wednesday’s broadcast of the Rich Eisen Show. Griffin, it appears, insists that it’s a “personal thing” between Diggs and Allen, according to “some people close” to Buffalo.

“I think it’s clear this is a personal thing between Josh and Diggs, and they have to get their partnership back on the field, and that’s part of playing quarterback”

“Everything is fine until it’s not fine in a relationship when it comes to a quarterback and a wide receiver like Diggs, so Josh has to manage that relationship the right way, and he’s the only one that can rectify it,” Griffin III added.

Griffin’s latest assertion is not all that different from a previous one that said Diggs was upset with the offensive playcalling because of his involvement in the offense. However, any rumors of a rift with Allen seem to have their roots in the now-famous incident when Diggs openly expressed his displeasure with his quarterback after the Divisional Round defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Diggs’ complaints to Allen during and during the Divisional Round playoff game against the Bengals last year served as the catalyst for the entire situation. On his ten targets, Diggs only managed to haul in four passes for a total of 35 yards, and even Allen’s stats weren’t outstanding. Stefon apparently left the venue shortly after the defeat even before the coaches could enter, according to reports.

Prior to hitting the field as a team, Griffin and the host Rich Eisen emphasized the need of setting aside all disagreements.
