When Hamlin hit Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, his heart stopped, and he had to be given CPR on the field before being sent to the hospital.

Hamlin’s hands and feet can move, his breathing tube was withdrawn overnight on Thursday, and his neurological functions are fully unharmed. He FaceTimed with family and friends all day on Friday and spoke to the Buffalo Bills organisation as well.

While his stay with the Bills in 2015 and 2016 wasn’t fruitful, Ryan still had the chance to witness the resilience of Buffalo town. The former coach has always been unafraid to express his feelings, and he has continued this trait in his position as an ESPN analyst.
