REVEALED: The Reason Why Michael Jordan Could End Up Selling Charlotte Hornets

Many people still consider Michael Jordan to be the greatest basketball player to ever play the game. But Jordan has also had a noteworthy influence off the field. The 6’6 guard won six NBA titles and was named MVP of six Finals, five NBA MVPs, one DPOY, and fourteen All-Star games.

Even after he stopped playing basketball, he continued to enjoy the sport. MJ maintained a connection to the sport by first promoting his Jordan line and later purchasing small ownership in the Charlotte Bobcats in 2006. Jordan aimed to acquire a controlling ownership stake in the franchise in February 2010, and on March 17th, he succeeded.

Jordan has made a wise investment in the Hornets, despite the fact that they aren’t exactly one of the NBA’s premier teams. However, it appears that the six-time NBA Champion may not be content and wishes to leave the group.

Michael Jordan to consider selling Hornets?

The NBA fined Robert Sarver $10 million and suspended him for a year as a result of the entire incident. On September 21, Sarver said that the sale of both franchises had started.

“You have Charlotte. That’s gonna become available.”

Recently, Bill Simmons stated that he believes the Suns will get at least $4.7 Billion. He gave his justification for it before bringing up a strange item. Other owners of clubs may consider selling if the Suns sell for less than $4 billion. Michael Jordan hasn’t really mentioned selling the Hornets in any official capacity. However, there have been rumors that MJ recently sold an interest in the Hornets.

A player as outstanding as Jordan transitioning to an administrative position is quite uncommon. But he has done it with ease. It would be intriguing to see if Michael Jordan or the team released a statement about the incident to explain the circumstances.
