Retirement Alert: Brittney Palmer Said Goodbye To Her 16-Year-Long UFC Ring Girl Career.
After 16 years with the Dana White-led organization, Brittney Palmer is ending her job as an octagon lady in the UFC.
The seasoned ring girl declared her retirement during her acceptance of the Ringcard Girl of the Year trophy at the World MMA Awards on Thursday. She stated that UFC 296—which is scheduled to take place at T-Mobile Arena on December 16—will be her last event.
“Well, there’s no better time to say it. But after 16 years with UFC, I’ve decided to retire,” Palmer, who is 36 years old, stated this while performing live at Las Vegas’ Sahara Theatre. “This weekend will be my last event, and I’m so, absolutely grateful for this unforgettable experience.

“I’ve traveled the world and met some incredible people, and I’ve met some lifelong friends. I will forever appreciate the memories and I am so excited for the future.
Palmer continued her thank you to White, the UFC, and the fans and said, “for this incredible honor.”
