Reports Suggest Tom Brady and ‘Offensive’ Gisele Bundchen at the Point of No Return After Hiring Divorce Lawyers

A return to the sport he loves the most has cost Tom Brady dearly in his personal life. The seven-time Super Bowl winning is close to finalizing his divorce from his wife of 13 years. For Brady, the end of the 2021 season meant the end of his NFL career as well. The undisputed GOAT announced that he would be stepping away from the sport to spend time with his family and his children.

However, just 40-days after announcing his retirement, Brady stated that he would be returning to the field and leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for yet another season. This did not sit well with Bundchen, who expected him to take a more active role in their kid’s life post-retirement.

Now that Brady will be busy for 18 weeks at least, Bundchen has decided to end things once and for all with her husband. According to reports, both parties have now hired divorce lawyers to split a $26 million real estate portfolio among other assets. However, the priority for both Bundchen and Brady is the well-being of their children.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen to make their divorce official soon

A source revealed that Tom Brady is the one who wants the divorce to be as smooth as possible, but Bundchen is on the offensive. The source said, “She is playing offense and he is playing defense. He wants to protect himself, protect his interests, but he’s only starting to go the legal route in his defense from her. He doesn’t want this to be ugly, he doesn’t want to fight. If the divorce is happening — and it seems like it is — he wants it to go as smoothly as possible.” The source also revealed that the couple are at the point of no return at this point in their marriage.

As for Brady’s 2022 NFL season, the Bucs are currently 2-2 so far this season. Four games in, Brady has completed 1,058 passing yards, and six touchdowns. Next up for the Buccaneers are the Atlanta Falcons.
