Reports Suggest Denver Broncos Coaches Have Been Sleeping at the Training Facility for the Past Three Weeks to Turn Things Around

Things are going from bad to worse with each week that passes by for the Denver Broncos. An inexperienced coaching staff paired together with an offense that has not been in sync and topped off with a quarterback that has been severely underperforming is a recipe for disaster. After six game weeks of the 2022 NFL season, the Broncos have been one of the biggest if not the biggest disappointment so far this season.

Going into the season, there was a lot of hope and excitement surrounding the Broncos and understandably so. In the off season, the Broncos signed an elite quarterback with Super Bowl-winning experience in the form of Russell Wilson. A few months after that,t it was announced that the Broncos would be sold to Walmart heir Rob Walton and his consortium of investors in what became the highest price paid for a sports team in the world.

A season to forget for the Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson

However, since then, things have been going downhill for all involved. Wilson is struggling massively and six games into the season, he has just 1,442 passing yards and five touchdowns against three interceptions. Wilson and his offense are completely out of sync and have scored over 20-points just once in six games.

However, the positive sign is that the Broncos staff are not ready to go down without a fight as it was reported that Denver’s offensive coordinator Justin Outten and a number of other members of the staff have been sleeping in the facility for the past three weeks in order to fix things. This was first reported by Zac Stevens, who said, “This is wild: Justin Outten and some of the Broncos coaches have slept in the facility the past three weeks. They’ve fully committed to grinding to get the team back on track.”

Early last week the Carolina Panthers became the first team to make a change in management mid-season as they sacked Matt Rhule for Steve Wilks. It is widely believed that if Nathaniel Hackett does not turn things around, he might be next in line.
