Before stepping foot on an NBA floor, Henderson is already forming relationships and business transactions. Henderson and NBA great Stephen Curry have reportedly developed a close relationship, according to NBA writer Marc Spears for ESPN.
A “strategic alliance” has been established between the two, and Curry is guiding the young athlete. Curry is reportedly going to tutor Henderson and aid him with his off-court business endeavors.

Henderson, who plays for the G-League Ignite squad, is not a former collegiate basketball player. He was a five-star recruit out of high school and is listed as 6’2″. He played in 10 games with the Ignite, scoring 14.7 points on average.
Longtime coworkers had brought the two together. Curry also devotes a lot of time to charity and works to support local kids. His Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation works to end child hunger, create safe spaces for kids to go after school, and support educational initiatives.
1 week from today, the Houston Rockets may be in position to pair this man with Jalen Green and form the most dynamic backcourt in the NBA.

Scoot Henderson stated, “Just getting this early training and knowledge from Steph mentoring me and the people around him, it’s a blessing.” “It’s really cool that I just turned 19 and I’m already learning that information early.”
Late in March, when Scoot and Moochie attended a morning training session with Curry’s trainers at Laney College, they took some time to get to know one another.

What appeals to Curry beyond Henderson’s talent, which makes him one of the most athletic point guards in the 2023 class, is the commitment to community he has demonstrated at home in Marietta, Georgia.
