Reporter Malika Andrews Has Been Called Out In Josh Giddey’s Case. Know The Details

NBA fans have been calling out ESPN reporter Malika Andrews for her radio silence regarding Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey, who is being investigated by the league for an alleged improper relationship with a minor. Dez Bryant, a legend of the Dallas Cowboys, has joined the chorus of fans criticizing Andrews.

Bryant, 35, expressed his fear on X (Twitter) on Monday. Several fans have expressed similar concerns. He tagged Andrews, reminding her of certain previous transgressions that had offended him and others. In the end, she did talk about the Giddey issue on “NBA Today.”

“You went out your way to crucify Brandon Miller on draft day over something he didn’t even do,” Bryant tweeted. “Why haven’t you said anything about Josh Giddey? I advise you not to make this a Black or white thing.

“Your parents really raised you wrong and just because you went to private school doesn’t make you better. You appeal and I know your kind. You’re just a puppet. I don’t know how a former or current NBA player could sit there across from you and look at you with some kind of respect.”

When Andrews, 28, brought out unfavorable articles about young Black players on a momentous occasion for them, she received blowback from fans on multiple occasions in the past.

Giddey, a white Australian citizen of twenty-one, is being investigated for reportedly having dated a high school student who is underage. Regarding the accusations, he has refrained from commenting.

While Andrews may contend that no official announcement has been made about the Giddey case, Miller, the rookie for the Charlotte Hornets, was never charged with a crime and that did not stop her from disclosing his alleged transgressions.
