He is anticipated to be fully healthy and available for scheduled team activities in 2023. Wilson will seek to significantly improve next year following a dismal 2022 campaign, so this is fantastic news for him.
#Broncos QB Russell Wilson had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee following 2022, a procedure to fix an issue that had nagged him for a few seasons. He is back working out and throwing after the minor scope and should be fine for OTAs. He'll be at full health for 2023.

The Broncos had high hopes when the nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback, a Super Bowl champion, joined the team in the offseason. But instead of becoming a postseason contender, Denver was one of the most inept offenses in the NFL. The Broncos scored a total of 29 touchdowns over 17 games and went 5–12 in the process.
Wilson had 3,524 passing yards in total but just 16 touchdown passes compared to 11 interceptions. As a result, Sean Payton took over as head coach in lieu of rookie Nathaniel Hackett.

Wilson can only hope that the operation and the summer adjustments will increase Denver’s chances of meeting those targets.
While the 2022 season was a forgettable one for Wilson, Payton painted a positive picture when asked about his new quarterback during his introductory press conference as Broncos coach.

“I do feel like the last couple of weeks we saw a little bit more of what we were expecting and accustomed to,” Payton said of Wilson’s 2022 season, via The Athletic. “I think the No. 1 job for us as coaches is evaluating our players. What are the things they do really well? Let’s try to put them in those positions. That’s the starting point. … Here’s what I know: He’s an extremely hard worker. That’s important. You take that, you understand the skill set … and then you go from there.”
