READ: Here’s What the NFL Had to Say After Fresh Sexual Misconduct Allegations Rock Deshaun Watson and Cleveland Browns
A fresh claim has surfaced just as we were beginning to believe that Deshaun Watson’s off-field problems had been resolved forever. Deshaun Watson, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, is being sued once more for alleged sexual assault during a massage session. This time, the plaintiff is a certified massage therapist who claims Watson forced her into oral sex at the Houstonian Hotel in December 2020.
After agreeing to punishment with the NFL for earlier nearly identical claims, Watson is presently serving an 11-game ban. Jane Doe, a woman who filed the complaint under that name, filed it in Harris County, Texas, on Thursday.
Counting one woman who filed a lawsuit against Watson in March 2021 but chose not to continue it approximately three weeks later, she is the 25th woman to do so and make comparable misbehavior accusations against him in civil court.
NFL’s statement on Deshaun Watson facing a new allegation
NFL’s statement read: “Watson’s status remains unchanged. We will monitor developments in the newly-filed litigation; and any conduct that warrants further investigation or possible additional sanctions would be addressed within the Personal Conduct Policy.”

It is the first lawsuit filed after Watson was suspended for 11 games by the NFL following an investigation into the claims. Due to concerns with the Houston Texans and the twenty civil lawsuits filed against him, Deshaun Watson did not play the complete 2021 NFL season. He spent his last five years with the Texans until being dealt to the Browns in March.
Deshaun Watson escaped criminal prosecution after a grand jury decided not to prosecute him, but he still had to reach out-of-court settlements in a number of civil cases.
